If you encounter any issues with the internet, we would kindly ask that you contact the team in the office so they can investigate further.

The central heating is controlled via a thermostat found on the wall beside the hallway cupboard. To turn on the heating, ensure the dial is turned around to between 25-30°. Please bear in mind it may take a little time for the apartment to warm up.

If you find the heating hasn’t fired up, you can find the main boiler in the hallway cupboard. Please ensure the boiler is switched on at the mains and the little switch is set to ‘1’ (Heating ON points to it). If none of the above is working, simply contact the team in the office and one of our Maintenance team can promptly attend.

Too toasty?! On the rare occasion that the city does see a spectacular summer’s day, we do also have a small number of fans available. Contact the office to request one but, please note, this is subject to availability.

All properties have a hairdryer to hand and we provide one set of towels per guest to save you some room in your suitcase!

As we’re self-serviced accommodation and not a hotel, daily housekeeping is not provided. However, if you are staying with us for more than seven days, someone will attend to turnover the house and restock your linen. This is will be pre-arranged with the team in the office.

A small number of toilet rolls and miniature toiletries are left to get you started on your first night. Russells, a short walk away on Sandy Row would be your closest location to stock up on supplies.

You’ll find the remote for the SMART TV in the lounge. The TV is equipped with a number of streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney and Prime Video. Use your own account details to sign into these and we would just gently remind you to sign out before departing!

*If you forget, don’t worry - just contact the team in the office and we’ll have a member of staff head down and log you out.

The balcony doors are straightforward to use and simply slide open, but we do recommend operating them with care. Watch this video to see our team operate these. Turn the handle upwards, pull the whole door towards you and press your hand on the outer frame to slide. Try not to use the handle to drag this along!

You will find the washing machine in the kitchen, and the iron and ironing board in the hallway cupboard. A small number of laundry capsules can be found below the kitchen sink. This is a washer only and not a tumble dryer so you will need to use the air dryer to hang your wet laundry. This is also found in the hallway cupboard.

Both bedrooms have spacious wardrobes where you can store away your luggage and you’ll find hanging space for those items you want to keep neat and tidy.

The spacious, private kitchen is always a hit with our guests. Here you’ll have everything you need to whip up a tasty, home-cooked meal or a warm breakfast on a cold winter’s day.

As we’re self-serviced accommodation, we provide utensils, cookware and crockery, but the cupboards and the fridge are left bare for you to stock with what you need. Take a seat at the dining table and relax over your morning coffee before setting off for a full day of sights or shopping.

Ensure the cooker is switched on at the wall - the red fuse light will illuminate. Adjust knobs for temperature and function to use the oven accordingly. On the hob, remember to press and hold ignition switch as well as turning the desired ring dial.

To operate the oven, as well as setting the function and the temperature, you must also turn the middle timer dial around fully to get this to heat.

Before you leave the house on the morning of your departure, we simply ask that you pop your crockery in the dishwasher and clean any pots and pans you might have used.

Although it can sometimes feel like it, we aren’t a hotel so some of our processes will be different. As daily Housekeeping isn’t a feature of self-serviced accommodation, it may be the case that you start to accumulate more rubbish than fits in your personal, indoor bins.

If that’s the case, we would kindly ask that you remove this to the larger communal bins to prevent any spillages or odours in-house. You’ll find these in the car park.

Replacement bin-bags will be under the sink in the kitchen and we thank you for your kind co-operation.
