The heating is controlled via a centralised thermostat that is off-limits to guests. To control your own room temperature or to turn this fully on and off, you’ll need to manually adjust the valve at the end of the radiator in your room.

Too toasty?! On the rare occasion that the city does see a spectacular summer’s day, we do also have a small number of fans available. Contact the office to request one but, please note, this is subject to availability.

All rooms have a hairdryer to hand and we provide one set of towels per guest to save you some room in your suitcase!

As we’re self-serviced accommodation and not a hotel, daily housekeeping is not provided. However, our team replenish fresh towels into the kitchen shelves each day should you wish to avail of these. We would just ask our guests to be environmentally mindful and re-use linens where possible.

Used towels can be popped into the black, laundry bin to the right of the fridge labelled. Please don’t use this for rubbish!

freshen up

We’ve recently made the transition to refillable toiletries and you’ll find the soothing, spa-like scent of lavender and geranium Faith in Nature body wash and shampoo in every en-suite shower room. These should be kept topped up at all times, but if you find you’ve run low, just give our team a shout and we’ll arrange for this to be remedied!

scrub-a-dub-dub

The washing machine in the kitchen is for the use of all guests. Laundry capsules can be found on the counter directly above. This is a washer only and not a tumble dryer so you will need to use the air dryer to hang your wet laundry.

wash, dry, iron, repeat

All rooms have a small space below the built-in shelves where can store away your luggage and you’ll find hanging space for those items you want to keep neat and tidy.

An iron and ironing board is available within the kitchen for all guests to use. We ask that this remains in the kitchen at all times so it’s always accessible.

neat and tidy

The world is your oyster when it comes to premium, coffee houses in the city. But sometimes, you just want a simple cuppa in the quiet of your own space.

Each room at The Wellesley comes equipped with a retro inspired, electric kettle and a small selection of tea and coffee to give you that boost when you need it.

If you need to top up your stash at any point during your stay, head to the kitchen where you can find these in jars on the bookcase. Help yourself!

help yourself

In a good book that is!

We know that travelling light sometimes means sacrificing those little luxuries. So we’ve set up a shared library in the kitchen where you can help yourself while in-house. We just kindly ask that you return these before heading home so our future guests can enjoy them.

get lost

The communal kitchen is always a hit with our guests. Here you’ll have everything you need to whip up a tasty, home-cooked meal or a warm breakfast on a cold winter’s day. You’ll even find a small selection of cookbooks on the bookcase if you need some inspiration!

Pull up a stool, take a seat at the breakfast bar and relax over your morning coffee before setting off for a full day of sights or shopping.

We just ask you’re conscious of your fellow guests. Pop your crockery in the dishwasher and clean any pots and pans you might have used so they’re ready to be used by the next hungry person.

cook up a storm

We know what it’s like when you come home hungry after a long day or you wake up ravenous; that’s us everyday!

But the rules of the fridge - and by extension, the kitchen cupboards - are simple. If it’s not yours, please don’t eat it!

Mounted on the right of the fridge surround is a roll of labels and a Sharpie. We would advise writing your name, room number and the date on anything you leave in the kitchen.

The Housekeeping department will carry out regular checks on the contents of the fridge. Any items found to be past their sell-by date will be automatically disposed of.

*Central Belfast Apartments are not responsible for any items, perishable or otherwise, left in communal areas at any times.

respect the fridge

Although it can sometimes feel like it, we aren’t a hotel so some of our processes will be different. As daily Housekeeping isn’t a feature of self-serviced accommodation, it may be the case that you start to accumulate more rubbish than fits in your personal bins.

If that’s the case, we would kindly ask that you remove this to the larger outdoor bin to prevent any spillages or odours in-room. As you exit the property, down the steps and immediately to your right beyond the next house is the alleyway where the bin is located. It’s labelled 108.

You’ll find replacement bin-bags under the sink in the kitchen and we thank you for your kind co-operation.
